I’ve written before that my annual tradition with my brother is to run a miniMarathon every spring.
We run one of the easiest Boston Marathon qualifying courses, so it’s mostly for fun. We do get a little sibling rivalry going sometimes!
This year I want to keep a running log on the site to track my performance. I want to let everyone know what I’m doing, between running and cross-training, as well as nutrition.
All feedback is appreciated, and any constructive advice is most welcome!
Without further ado, my inaugural training run for 2018:
I like to use the FitBit app for tracking. There are lots of great ones out there, so feel free to let me know your favorite in the comments!
Today I also included two cycles of push-ups, plank and air squats. One minute for each exercise, with a one minute recovery between sets. Needless to say, I was totally wiped!
I use AdvoCare Recovery post-workout, and Spark pre-workout.
